Are you interested in collaborating with the Canadian Emergency Department Research Network (CEDRN)? We welcome partnerships with patients, clinicians, researchers and decision-makers from across Canada who are interested in multi-center observational studies to improve clinical care, inform healthcare policy, and bolster emergency preparedness. We support organizations transitioning to learning health systems by enabling use of aggregate data for quality improvement and surveillance.

How do you want to collaborate with CEDRN?

  2. Once we receive your inquiry, we will set up a consultation to discuss:
    • Your research objectives and how they align with CEDRN’s expertise
    • Potential data sources and methodological considerations
    • Available funding and resource needs
    • Ethical requirements
  1. Project proposal & agreement
  2. If the collaboration is a good fit, we would like to work with you to refine the project scope, establish roles and responsibilities, and outline the research plan.

  2. Once agreements are in place, our team will support the execution of the study, which may include:
    • Assistance with study design and methodology
    • Access to CEDRN’s data collection infrastructure
    • Access to research coordination, data and analytics professionals
    • Support with administrative data linkages and analysis
    • Support for patient engagement and knowledge translation
