Lorraine Graves

Lorraine Graves lived a vibrant life as a mom, elder carer and a journalist. Then, in March 2020 COVID hit, and hit hard. Expecting a time of recovery, she was gobsmacked to discover she was stuck in limbo – no longer deathly ill but far from healthy, living life in bed on oxygen at first, then graduating over the years to being out of bed all day but only sitting up for a few hours, living on the couch watching boring TV for the rest of it, like a race horse kept stabled indefinitely. Having gumption to spare, overdoing it leads to crashes. After 5 years, Lorraine has had more than enough of Long Covid. Her respite is doing what she can for others.
